Dear Doug, Libby and Family..This is Brenda (B) - I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss and the pain you are feeling. However, it is a day of celebration of Gertie's new and eternal life in Heaven!!!
I only had the chance to sit and talk with Gertie a few times. My last nice conversation was in the Outer Banks in May of 2021. I enjoyed the conversation and could see, then, that he had an internal peace!
I wasn't able to be there today for you - but I streamed the entire service online and felt so blessed to say I was apart of his celebration.
David was there and represented us as a couple. David thought the absolute world of Gertie - He loves the Myers' Family as his Family. A lot of precious and dear memories he holds. All the many conversations, dinners, gatherings with Gertie, Libby and Doug.
My God place his Arms of Strength, Peace, and Love around you!!!!
