Dortha M. Morris' Obituary
Dortha M. Morris, 89, of Rapidan, VA passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Culpeper Regional Hospital, Culpeper, VA. She was born in LaRue County, Kentucky to the late Bud and Lizzie Allen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Morris, her son, Captain Donald Morris and all of her brothers and sisters.
She has one daughter, Juanita Callahan and her husband, John of Rapidan, VA, three grandsons, John Swanson, Jr., Donald Morris and Scott Morris, and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Dortha lived most of her life in Sandwich, Illinois and retired from Western Electric in Aurora, Illinois. After retirement, she spent many years as an assistant in the Laundromat in Sandwich. She will be missed by many relatives and friends from Illinois and Virginia.
Funeral services will be held at the Beverage Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL on Saturday, September 29, 2012 with Rev. John Wm. Davis of the first Apostolic Church officiating. The visiting hours will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
