Dorothy R. Jenkins' Obituary
Dorothy R. Jenkins, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was the wife of Marshall H. Jenkins. She was born to the late Luther S. and Della Fincham Jenkins of Rappahannock County, VA.
She was graduated from Sperryville High School and attended Strayer College. She worked at Newberry’s, and was a catalogue sales representative for Sears, and for more than twenty years at Country Home Antiques, the family antique business, where her customers became her extended family. She has been a member of Culpeper United Methodist Church for more than fifty years.
Survivors include her son, John H. Jenkins and his wife, Rosemary, her SPECIAL grandchildren, Ann Marie Anderson, and her husband, Brett and Marshall E. Jenkins and his wife, Kacey, four great grandsons, John William Anderson, Erich Robert Jenkins, Benjamin Marshall Anderson and Nicholas Joseph Anderson, her niece, Linda Dodson and nephews Ronald, Ricky and Scott Jenkins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Butler Goodman, and two brother, Luther S. Jenkins, Jr., and John Walker Jenkins.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dr. Randy Orndorff officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Daniel Dodson, Tom Earles, Ronald Jenkins, Ricky Jenkins, Darren McKinney and Jack Nicholas.
