Dorothy Marie Pippin Steele's Obituary
Dorothy Marie Pippin Steele, 91, of Culpeper died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. She was born July 29, 1917 in Bluefield, VA to the late Charles S. and Mattie M. Perdue Pippin.
Mrs. Steele was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church and was a former member of Manassas Baptist Church where she was very active in the Christian Women’s Club. She was also a business partner with her husband in the Crest Cleaners in Manassas.
She is survived by her son, Robert M. Steele of Columbia, SC, two brothers, Evan Pippin of Oak Ridge, TN and Charles “Bill” Pippin of Charleston, WV, four grandchildren, Susan W. Cruse, Gregory T. Steele, Amy E. Aiello, Sara S. Todd, and five great grandchildren, Joshua Cruse, Ashley and Arin Aiello, Gabriel Todd and Fallon Gehring.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Taylor Steele, her daughter, Elizabeth S. Morris, and one great grandson, Alex Aiello.
