Dorothy B. Scroggins' Obituary
Dorothy B. Scroggins, 71, of Culpeper died December 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 21, 1944 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Evertt and Agnes Voyles.
Dot retired from Merillat after 15 years. She then moved on to Walmart who then became her second family. Dot was a people person and a mother and friend to everyone. She impacted many lives and showed her family the meaning of hard work, love, compassion, and to truly be there for one another. We will always have you in our hearts! And you will be deeply missed Mom. We love you.
She is survived by two children, Zane Earn Moss and Zina Maria Maley and her fiancé, Greg Johnson; three granddaughters, Amanda Jeffries and her fiancé, James Feaganes, Amber Blackmon and Shyra Rider, all of Culpeper; and five siblings, Margie Day of KY, Irene Cole, Donna Voyles, Pearlene Burnette and Frances Voyles, all of GA.
Additional survivors include three great grandkids, Tyler Jeffries, Leah Feaganes and Madison Hoak; and two daughters by heart, Tina Corbin and Rita Griffin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charlie, Frank, Roy and Troy Voyles; and the love of her life, Boyd R. Coffey.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
