Dorothy Ann Mee's Obituary
Dorothy “Dot” Ann Mee, 83, of Greenville, South Caroline, formerly of Culpeper, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at her residence. She was born December 24, 1942, in Charlottesville to the late Edward Athey Atkins and Cedelmer Mae Jones Atkins.
Dot is survived by her daughter, Shyrl Merkel, and her husband, Chris of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Madison Merkel, and Andrew Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Rossini; one grandchild, Edward “Eddie” Smith; and two sisters, Peggy Lee Dodson and Betty Jean Settle.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
