I had the pleasure of spending time with Dorothy and Diane when I was about 13 (I can't remember exactly). Dorothy and my Mom were friends. Dorothy set up a place in their room in Sheatown so I could have sleep overs. She had the TALK with me about transitioning to womanhood. She loved Diane so much and I learned what a Mom is that respects and spends time with a daughter. I felt like her daughter! We laughed. Dorothy allowed me in she and Diane's life if for a short time. It made a monumental impact on my memory of my life and I am forever grateful.
Dorothy was a wonderful person, always smiling. She was a joy to be around. We shared our love for mystery movies and had great conversations about the movies and actors. She was a kind and caring person and I will miss her very much. My prayers are with the family, so sorry for your loss. Phyllis Boggs
I’ll always remember your mom and her soap operas when I was in junior high. She really loved her family and expressed it often. I always enjoyed our chats at family events and will miss her at future ones. Glad we got to see “Jesus” together at the theatre.
