Doris Marie Smith's Obituary
Doris Marie Smith, 86, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday April 8, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Doris worked for many years at the Fredericksburg Auto Auction and was a longtime member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg.
She is survived by her son, Richard Smith and his wife Bonnie, her daughter Carol S. Byram and her husband Ron, her son Scott J. Smith and his wife Patricia; her nephew, Brian Thompson; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Smith.
A funeral service celebrating Doris’ life will be held at 11am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the local St. Vincent DePaul Charity, 120 Olde Greenwich Village Drive Fredericksburg, VA 22408
