Doris Mae Yowell's Obituary
Doris Mae Yowell, 60, of Culpeper died Monday, March 28, 2011 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1950 in Culpeper to the late John W. and Florine Fincham Jenkins.
Mrs. Yowell loved her family and friends and cherished each moment spent with them.
She is survived by her son, Jay A. Yowell, Jr. and his wife, Tabitha of Culpeper, four siblings, Ruth E. Duncan of Culpeper, Charles W. Jenkins and his wife, Linda of Fredericksburg, Lois M. Menefee and her husband, James of Orange, Bobby R. Jenkins of Manassas Park, two grandchildren, Ahlexus L. and Devein J. Yowell, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Anderson and one brother, Frank E. Jenkins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31. 2011 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. John S. Farrar officiating. A two hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
