Dear Family and friends of Doris,
I was blessed to know Doris through the monthly hymn at English Meadows with the volunteers and choir members from Precious Blood Catholic Church and from bringing the precious gift of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity our Lord in the Holy Sacrament of Communion to Doris while I was a member of the Parish. I enjoyed our conversations about her beautiful family and discussions of us both serving God in our lives as Federal employees . She had a great love of people and sharing the gift of song! I miss her and hope she shares her prayers and love with us from her heavenly choir. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family . Love, Regina Coleman

Dear Family,
I feel so privileged to have known Doris, and I am sorry for your loss. It has been many decades since our work together in College Park BPW, but I always remember Doris fondly as the go-to person for just about anythiing, and recall her fruitful commitment of service to the organization on all levels. She was an exemplary leader and role model for young women. I'm glad to know her life after moving to Culpepper was lived equally passionately.
With sympathy and best wishes,
Debra Cooper, Asheville, NC
She definately lived a full life and was always a fine voice in the choir. She had loving and caring children and grands. Also a neighbor 'on the farm' a while back. Peace to all the family and friends.
