Doris Edith Meyer Darrow Bailey's Obituary
Doris Edith Meyer Darrow Bailey, 74, of Culpeper died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 1, 1942 in Auburn, NY to the late Helmud and Edith Knuppenburg Meyer.
She is survived by three children, Patrick Darrow and his husband, Bobby Edwards, Shawn Darrow and his wife, Dawn of Front Royal and Timothy Darrow and his wife, Jeanie of Rixeyville; two siblings, Harold Meyer and Lois Sadowski, both Syracuse, NY; and her best friend, Patricia McMillan.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Shane Darrow, Amanda Lewis, Steven Darrow, Sarah Showers and Timothy Darrow, II; and four great grandchildren, Hailee Thomas, Mya Darrow, Camden Showers and Chase Showers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Randolph Bailey; and one son, Russell Darrow.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery, Old Section.
