Doris Elizabeth Cooper's Obituary
Doris Elizabeth Cooper, 65, of Hartwood passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Henry R. Cooper of Hartwood. She was a homemaker all her life and a wonderful mother!
Doris is survived by her only child, her son, A.C. Decatur of Fredericksburg; two grandchildren, Jenna Decatur and Amber Bouchard; two sisters, Helen A. Lenox and Myrtle A. Pearson; brother-in-law, Roger Lenox; and numerous nephews and nieces, all that she dearly loved.
Doris’ family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in the Jenkins Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Doris’ family would greatly appreciate that expressions of sympathy take the form of monetary donations payable to Carter Bank and Trust.
