Doris Marie Clatterbuck Corbin's Obituary
Doris Marie Clatterbuck Corbin passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at home with family by her side.
Doris was born in Madison County on April 14, 1931 to the late Ernest and Ida Aylor Clatterbuck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Thelma Brown and Jeanetta Sisk.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, AC; children, Steve (Rachel), Lynda (Larry), Mike (Leilani) and Jeff (Curtis); grandchildren, Stephanie, Victoria, Lauran & Savannah Corbin, Austin (Sarah) & Morgan Corbin and Walter & Lee Kwai Scott; sister, Marilyn Boone (Harold) in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Doris worked for C&P Telephone Company in addition to being a bookkeeper for the family business, Virginia Cleaning Company.
Doris loved cooking, baking, canning and collecting cookbooks.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Found & Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper VA. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery, 776 Viewtown Road, Amissville VA.
The family wishes to thank special caregiver Jeanne Anderson, the many helpers as well as the wonderful people with Hospice of the Piedmont.
