Doris May Barton's Obituary
Doris May Barton, 85, of Spotsylvania County went to be with the lord on Monday, June 7, 2021.
She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. Doris loved all animals, and her passions were bird watching and gardening.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Glenna Schubert and Kelly Mastro (Mark); a sister, Minnie White; a brother, Robert Proffitt; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; her beloved dogs, Dayzee and Blackie; and other loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Barton.
Doris’ family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle.
