Doris E. Balderson's Obituary
Doris E. Balderson, 98, of Culpeper passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1923 to the late Thomas Virgil and Eunice Victoria King in Washington D.C.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Pastor Paul Balderson, Sr. and her brother, Thomas V. King.
She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She worked for the telephone company in Washington D.C. and later at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Doris is survived by her children, Paul Balderson, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Culpeper, Kyle Balderson and his wife, Donna of Madison, and Paula Nighswonger and her husband, Buddy of Dunn, NC.; ten grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 12p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Masks are required to enter the building.
Interment will follow at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, 98348 Eleys Ford Rd., Richardsville, VA. 22736.
