Doreen G. M. Prosser's Obituary
Doreen Gladys Maud Prosser (87) passed away Sunday morning October 15, 2017.
Doreen was born on November 19, 1929 to the late Helena G. (Rendall) and Reginald J. F. Tucker in Princetown, England. Doreen was married to her late husband, Joseph A. Prosser for 63 years.
Survivors include her three sons and their families, Joseph F. and Charlotte Prosser, Richard A. and Jody Prosser, and Myron J. E. and Mary Prosser; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Doreen is a war bride marrying US Army Soldier Joseph A. Prosser on July 29, 1950. They married in the small town of Princetown, England witnessed by the entire town. Doreen had a great love of animals, especially cats, providing homes for many stray cats over the years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Quantico National Cemetery, with the Rev. Jack Marcom officiating.
