Donna Elizabeth Reese's Obituary
Donna Elizabeth Reese, 73, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at her home.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, doing puzzles, and bowling. She volunteered thousands of hours coaching and running youth bowling leagues and was inducted into the NJ Trenton Women’s bowling Hall of Fame.
Donna worked for the federal government where she worked for more than 30 years and was one of the first females there working as a computer technician.
Donna is survived by her husband of 55 years, Carl; five children, Lynnette Reese-Young (John), Deanne Hoger (Sean), Caryn Gose (Kelly), Carl Reese, and Renee Reese-Olexa, all of New Jersey; brother, Vernon Swing (Linda) of Colorado; 16 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many other family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Winkles and Penny Tidwell.
Donna’s family will receive family only from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks will be required in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Donna’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
