Donna Mae Cowan's Obituary
Donna Mae Kidd Cowan, 62, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away peacefully Monday, December 11, 2023.
Donna grew up in Lorton, Virginia, where she attended Hayfield Secondary High School. Most recently, she lived in Fredericksburg, Virginia where she enjoyed spending time with her family. Donna may have had some struggles, but she lived a very blessed and happy life. She loved gardening, eating, organizing, and cleaning. She would do anything for her family and friends. She made everyone who knew her laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories she shared.
Donna is survived by her two sisters, Doris Matheney and Doreen Coffey; her children, Lori Gasemy (Danny), Sean Cooper, Zachary Cooper (Makayla); and four grandchildren, Taylor, Brooke, Reagan, and Osborne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke Austin Kidd and Judith Ann Reavis.
The family is grateful to know that Donna is at peace. She will forever be loved and remembered.
The family will celebrate Donna’s life by receiving family and friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
