Donald Eugene Powell, II's Obituary
Donald (Rocky) Eugene Powell, II, 71, of Gordonsville, went home to be with the lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was born on January 10, 1954, in Virginia to the late Mary Jenkins and Donald Eugene Powell.
Rocky is survived by one brother Butch Powell (Lauri), mothers of his children, Donna Powell and Lisa Powell, his children, Joshua Powell, Justin Powell, Tiffany Davidson (Ben), and daughter-in-law, Allyson Jenkins, eight grandchildren, Landon Powell, Lylah Powell, Lydia Powell, Dayton Powell, Jaxon Davidson, Ainsley Davidson, Brooklyn Davidson, Hailey Davidson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Ronnie Clarke.
Rocky was the true definition of what genuine means. He had the biggest loving heart and always said it was because of the way his momma raised him. He lived a very simple and happy life and brought joy to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Rocky had a passion for carpentry work and was very talented and loved helping others. He had the purest soul, and it came so naturally to him. Rocky’s family was the most important thing in his life. Rocky did so much for others out of the kindness of his heart.
