My uncle was a loving and lovable man who truly loved the Lord. He always shared wisdom and never hesitated to speak with honesty and truth. He had a beautiful smile, loved to laugh, and enjoyed making others smile with his jokes.

One thing about my uncle, he would not want people mourning over him for too long. Instead, he would want us to celebrate his life, cherish the memories, and thank God for the love, wisdom, and joy he brought into our lives.

I grew up with Don on Sperryville Pike. Our yards connected, which made our families close..
"A life long friend" Although, time grew us apart, he always greeted me with a smile. You will be missed. 🙏

Don & me went to school together. But our friendship grew when he came to work for me at Country Cookin. He helped develop so many young people with his leadership and guidance.

I once ask a customer why he ate there every day. His response was it sure was not the food but the "PEOPLE". Don was one of those people.

I am sure to the day he passed he would ran into a former customer or staff member & they would share a memory about those days.

So sorry for your family.
