Donald Stanley Hume's Obituary
Donald Stanley Hume, 84, of Culpeper entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 16, 1941, in Remington, VA.
Donald was an amazing and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed country music, nascar and the NFL.
Mr. Hume is survived by his daughter, Kathy Sites (Paul); daughter-in-law, Ann; grandchildren, Jessie Compton (Amy) and Chelsea Baker (Ed). Additional survivors include three great-grandchildren, Hunter Compton, Abigail Compton and Katie Baker; sister, Pat Jones.
In addition to his parents, Gertrude Mae McDonald and Willie Joseph Hume, Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Jenkins Hume; son, Donald S. Hume, Jr.; brother, Willie R. Hume, Sr. and sisters, Delores Ward, Barbara Jean Hume and Betty Lou Randall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Philip Elliott, officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
