Donald Thomas Green's Obituary
Donald Thomas Green, 85, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at The Culpeper. He was born April 9, 1936 in Montgomery, Maryland to the late David and Lela Green.
Donald was one of thirteen boys. He was a lifetime employee of Safeway stores. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather.
Donald is survived by three children, Debbra Wood (David), Donald Neville Green (Tammy) and Dorain Elswick (Samuel “Bo”); five grandchildren, Shane Elliot Wood (Meagan), Justin Green (Taylor), Shawna Kathryn Green, David Elswick (Alexandra) and Amanda Landon (Shaun); and seventeen great grandchildren, Elliott, Ilaria, Haylee, Gabi, Maisy, Laney, Alexis, Ethan, Samantha, Nicholas, Minerva, Mylee, Demetrius, Haylee, Baylee, Courtlynn and Leah.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Lilly Green and one son, David Thomas Green.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. Due to Covid-19 mandates, masks are required to enter the building. A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 8584 John S. Mosby Highway, Upperville, VA.
Pallbearers will be David Elswick, Justin Green, Shane Wood, Alexis Davis, Nicholas Landon, and Minerva Landon.
