Donald Gilmore's Obituary
Donald Gilmore, 83, of Fredericksburg died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was born in Ohio to the late Harvey and Bessie Gilmore.
He served in the Coast Guard for several years and later worked as a procurement specialist until his retirement.
Donald is survived by a daughter, Donna Turner and her husband Gary, of Springfield; five grandchildren and a son-in-law, Paul Nye of Manassas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie and a daughter, Mary.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 16, 2007 at 9:30 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. Inurnment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 11:00 am.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
