Donald Eugene Dobbins' Obituary
Donald Eugene Dobbins, 72 of Spotsylvania County, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at his home.
Donald attended the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church and worked as a professional tree surgeon for numerous years.
Donald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anita; a daughter, Jennifer D. Hoskins and husband Jason of Fredericksburg; a brother, Lewis E. Dobbins and wife Nancy of Ashland; four grandchildren, Tejera L. Desena and husband Frank of Stafford, Paul Lyons of the Northern Neck, Emily Hoskins and Lauren Hoskins both of Fredericksburg; four great-grandchildren, Kelci, Frankie Jr., Haylie and Brenden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his son Gary Dobbins and a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and David Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 12500 Chewning Lane, Spotsylvania Virginia 22553. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers listed will be; Paul Lyons, Stuart Taylor, Steven Forrester, Jason Hoskins, Joseph Moran and Frank Ayers.
In lieu of flowers donations in Donald’s name may be made to the Free Will Baptist Church.
