Don was my uncle. From the time we were young, he was a part of our lives. He was kind, generous and loved to cook. He was one of the smartest men I've ever known. Under his lead, we learned about and explored Washington, DC. We spent some summers visiting with him and Liz in Vienna and had a wonderful time. I loved having conversations with him.
