Don Louis Malone Willis' Obituary
Don “Hog” Louis Malone Willis, 70, of Rixeyville, VA died Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. He was born on April 10, 1952, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Evander and Martha Willis.
Donnie grew up in Washington, D.C. He loved being a granddad. He was elated to hear about his great-granddaughter and becoming a great-grandfather. Donnie never met a stranger and loved to share his experiences with those he knew and loved. Donnie touched many people’s hearts and will be greatly missed by all those he left behind.
Don is survived by his wife, Carolyn Willis; three children, Greg Robinson (Heather), Lyonell Willis, and Dawn Willis; three granddaughters, Arielle Williams, Karmen Robinson, and Kalea Turner; one great-granddaughter, Jimena Robinson; two sisters, Darlene Robinson (Lawrence) and Lynette Scott; three brothers, Ronnie Scott, Randolph Scott (Becky) and Alan Scott (Loretto); one aunt, Phyllis Williams; brothers and sisters-in-law, Loyonne Turner (Charles), Glen Robinson (Alice) and Stewart Robinson (Bonita); and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by one sister, Denise Willis; brother, John Scott, III; sister-in-law, Marva Tyler; and brother-in-law, Armstead Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ada Summers officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
