Don R. Clay's Obituary
Don R. Clay, 81, of Woodville passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at home. He was born June 26, 1937 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio.
Mr. Clay was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan Clay; children, Rebecca Anne Clay (Charles Verharen) of Washington, DC, and Jeffrey Markham Clay (I-jung Chiang) of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandchildren Isabel, Anders, and Ingrid Clay; brother-in-law Robert Bishop of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and nephew Ted Bishop (Lori Sparks) of Waynesville, Ohio.
In addition to parents, Chester and Margaret Markham Clay, Mr. Clay was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Bishop, and nephew, Tom Bishop.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 379 Gay St, Washington, Virginia 22747 with a reception to follow.
A private graveside inurnment will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Woodville, Virginia.
