Dolly Gay Alfred's Obituary
Dolly Gay Alfred, 72, of Reva, VA died Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Culpeper. She was born June 6, 1948 to the late John W. Baldwin, Sr., and Lillie M. Baldwin in Culpeper.
She was a member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church. A goodhearted, loving woman of God. Dolly never failed to call and check on others, she was very selfless. She always put others before herself.
Dolly is survived by four children; Lester Dale Alfred, Jr., of Madison, Ronda Gay Seymour and her husband, John of Rixeyville, Dennis Ray Alfred of Boston, and David Wayne Alfred and his wife, Amanda of Novum, two sisters; Faye Leake of Fluvanna and Brenda Jenkins of Culpeper, one brother, Larry Baldwin of Culpeper, and one brother in law, Wayne Alfred of Culpeper. Additional survivors include eleven grandchildren; Jessica, Johnny, William, Katelyn, Kaylee, Kyndal, Brandi, Dylan, Luke, Helena, and Nora, five great grandchildren; Brantley, Bailey, Bella, Wyatt, and Journey.
In addition to her parents, Dolly is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Dale "Harry" Alfred, Sr.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 3 pm at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Beeler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dolly’s name to Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church, P O Box 174, Washington, VA 22747.
