Dollie A. Stringfellow's Obituary
Dollie A. Stringfellow born March 18, 1934 in Rappahannock County departed this life September 18, 2012 at the University of VA Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her flower gardens and listening to country and bluegrass music. She had an adventurous spirit, a great sense of humor, a loving heart and will be missed by all that knew her.
Dollie is survived by her seven children, James, Charles, Beverly, Betty, Wendy, Timothy and Chris, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three brothers, and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew “Jack” and Edith Woodward Foster, her husband, Frank Stringfellow, one brother and one sister.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11 am at Washington Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Jon Heddleston officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Ave., Suite B, Winchester, VA 22601 &/or the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
