Diane Dixie Lohr's Obituary
Diane Dixie Lohr, 84, of Rixeyville, died Friday, January 31, 2025, at The Harbor at Renaissance of Greene County. She was born August 25, 1940, in Fauquier County to the late Grace Russell and Thomas Francis Curtis, Jr.
Diane was a member of Oak Shade United Methodist Church and the Culpeper Ruritan Club. She was the secretary/bookkeeper for the family’s General Contracting business for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Oliver Harrison Lohr, Jr.; three sons, Jeffrey Lohr, Scott Lohr (Debbie), and Jon Lohr (Lori); three grandchildren, Hillary (Chris), Edward (Courtney), and Milton (Kim); and five great-grandchildren, Xavier, Matthew, Hailey, Ethan, and Alyssa.
In addition to her parents, Diane is preceded in death by one brother, Frank Rosenberger; and three sisters, Barbara Mountjoy, Peggy Bowen, and Donna Smith
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Hosub Sung officiating.
