Diane F. Hoag's Obituary
Diane F. Hoag, 96, of Vienna, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010.
Mrs. Hoag worked for many years on Capitol Hill, having served in numerous roles for many different committees and numerous Congressmen and Senators. She received her Master’s in Political Science from George Washington University. She enjoyed volunteering in many cooperative organizations as well as at the Smithsonian Institutes and at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. She was a member of the Vienna Garden Club and an Elder of the Vienna Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Peter Hoag and wife Lise, John Hoag and wife Linda Vincent; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William Gifford Hoag, her brother Peter Fisler and her grandson Michael.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 24th at the Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St, NE, Vienna, VA 22180. Interment will be in Pawling, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Vienna Presbyterian Church.
