Devin Shane Dodson's Obituary
Devin Shane Dodson, 18, of Louisa, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 in Orange. He was born December 3, 1988 in Charlottesville to Roger Thomas Dodson, Jr. and Julie Lynn Wyndham Lowry.
Mr. Dodson loved to meet new people and considered all of them friends. He was a devoted fan of the Washington Redskins, Dale Earnhardt, and Ford vehicles.
He is survived by his mother and her husband, Michael, of Crewe, Virginia, and his father and his wife, Carol, of Louisa. Other survivors include his brother, Brandon James Dodson, his half-brothers, Christopher Lowry and Johnathan Dyer, and his half-sisters, Tonya and Ashley Dyer.
He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, James and Susan Wyndham of Fredericksburg, his paternal grandparents, Roger and Gracie Dodson of Orange, his aunts, Wanda Stover, Beth Wyndham, Kimberley Wyndham Myers, and Claire Dodson, and his uncles, Steve Dodson, Mike Stover and Eddie Wayne Myers. Other survivors include his cousins, Meagan Wyndham, Eddie McCawley, Kaitlin and Dalton Myers, Missy Dodson, and Marissa Dodson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Found and Sons chapel with Pastor Ray Mullins officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Dodson, Sr., Roger Dodson, Jr., Steve and Brandon Dodson, Mike Stover, and Christopher Lowry.
