Derek McQuaine Newton
Derek McQuaine Newton, 30, of Ruther Glen, died December 18, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was a pre-press technician before his battle with diabetes rendered him disabled. Derek was also a member of Spotsylvania Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Shannon Newton; his loving dog, Bailey; his mother and step father, Michelle and Mark Claveloux; four brothers, Patrick, Danny and Robert Adair and Paul Claveloux; a sister, Denise Newton, all of Spotsylvania County; maternal grandparents, Theodore and Helen Labbe of King George County; and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garnett J. Newton.
