Deloris Mae Allen's Obituary
Deloris Mae (Lois) Allen, 60, of Spotsylvania County went home to be with Jesus Monday, August 31, 2015
Lois is survived by her fiancé, Angelo Cruz; her six children, Michael Allen, Tyfaney Allen, Candace Cosby, Christopher "Jay" Allen Jr., Shirl Scott and Tammy Stempin; and a number of grandchildren of whom she loved so much, Alannah, Walter, Dakotah, Kendal, Josh, Ashley, Nick, Ethan, Cierra, Hezakiah, Devante, Rose Marie, Mason, Anthony and Aliah Marie.
Lois was loved by everyone. She was the kindest, giving, compassionate, loving, friendliness, extraordinary, mother, Gamma and friend anyone could have ever hoped or prayed for. She was beyond extraordinary. She had a great love for flowers and plants (she talked to them :)). She is missed and loved greatly by so many people. We can see her running through a field of wild flowers in heaven. What joy and peace she has now.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Freedom Worship Center, 318 Jefferson Davis Highway Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations to go towards final expenses at http://www.gofundme.com/su3akvwt
"We didn’t get to say goodbye
We’re devastated that you’re gone
We’ve done anything to keep you here with us
Right here where you belong
We didn’t know that life would take
Such an unexpected path
That you’d be separated from us so soon
Heartbreaking reality we struggle to grasp
And bitter though our losing you has been
And so profound is the pain that we bear
We’re sadder still at no chance for goodbye
No final expression of our deep love and care
Yet believing that you’re not too far away
That your Spirit still lingers quite near
We’ll say our goodbyes in our words and our thoughts..."
