Delford Hobert Eagle's Obituary
Delford Hobert Eagle, Jr., 80 , of Manassas, passed away on May 18, 2010.
He was born in Parkersburg, WV on April 12, 1930 to the late Delford Eagle, Sr. and Ethel Buchanan Eagle. In 1951, he went to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. Delford later went to work for AT&T as an engineer and retired after 37 years of service. He loved golf and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his beloved wife, Wanda Eagle; four children, Michael Eagle, Timothy Eagle, Erica Frames and Brett Eagle; a sister, Mary Nestor and eleven grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. Funeral services with full military honors will be private at Quantico National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Delford’s memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
