Delbert "Lawrence" Horner's Obituary
Delbert “Lawrence” Horner, 74, of Rhoadesville died Friday, April 20, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born September 28, 1943 in Batna, VA to the late Delbert and Eleanor Butler Horner.
Mr. Horner was a veteran of the US Navy and owned his own construction company, L&L Construction for many years. He was a member of Black Oak Regular Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Betty Bowen and her husband, Maxwell of Remington, and Ellen Weakley of Hendersonville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Frances Elizabeth Horner; and two siblings, Edward Horner and Dorothy Waugh.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will follow at Black Oak Regular Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Wayne Richards officiating.
