Debra Jean Scorzelli's Obituary
Debra Jean Scorzelli, 65, of Orange, died Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Charlottesville at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born December 23, 1956 in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Norma Jeanette and Nicholas Vito Scorzelli.
Debra loved dogs and was a people person. She had a bachelor’s degree in nursing from American University in Washington, D.C. She once met Princess Caroline of Monaco at the Kennedy Center.
Debra is survived by one son, Bronson M. Wermann; one sister, Donna Scozelli; and her niece, Nicole Scorzelli Shavers.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Scorzelli.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Ron Young officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Debra’s name to the Madison-Greene Humane Society, PO Box 95, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
