Debra E. Chapman's Obituary
Debra E. Chapman, 52, of Fredericksburg has gone to be with God Monday, July 26, 2010 after a courageous fight with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, James Chapman; her son, John Chapman, of the home; her mother, Audrey Edenton and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece and nephew of the Fredericksburg area.
Debra was preceded in death by her father, J. Alvin Edenton.
She was in the Star Fire’s when she was young. She was a member of Spotswood Baptist Church, Ducks Unlimited and was a big supporter of her son’s soccer teams.
Debra sold real estate, some time ago, with Mount Vernon Reality and was a past owner of the Body Shop Fitness Club.
She worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission and finally with the F.B.I. at Quantico.
Debra loved life and was always up for a beach trip. She was always a great mother, daughter, wife and friend.
Debra’s family will receive friends Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral service celebrating Debra’s life will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 at 12:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with a member of the pastoral staff at Spotswood Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
