Deborah Wylecia Terrell's Obituary
Deborah W. Terrell, of Spotsylvania County, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 1, 2018, at Carriage Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was 87 and was affectionately known as “Deb” to many.
Deborah was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and she was the youngest child born to the late Reverend Fennell and Annie Terrell.
Deb graduated from John J. Wright High School in Spotsylvania, Virginia and later attended Saint Paul’s College, Lawrenceville, Virginia. After her schooling, she eventually found employment and relocated to Connecticut to be near her only sister whom she loved dearly. Deborah later retired from McKesson Corporation and relocated back to Spotsylvania County to be near her family.
Full of joy and jubilance, Deborah was always surrounded by people because of her friendly and cheerful disposition. She never met a stranger and loved to entertain.
A nephew, Solomon Holly; a dear cousin, Juanita McNeil; and other relatives survive her. In addition to her parents, her sister, Meredith Holly, and her beloved brother, Manuel Terrell, preceded her in death.
A celebration of her life will be set at a later time at Branch Fork Baptist Church, 6930 Stubbs Bridge Road, Spotsylvania, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/) in her memory.
