Deanna Lois Kessler's Obituary
Deanna Lois Brosius left this life at home on October 6, 2021 with her daughter by her side. She was a devoted wife of Robert Newton Kessler, who preceded her in death in 2020.
She is a daughter to Maudie Klinger Brosius and Lloyd Alfred Brosius (deceased).
Loving mother to Robert Newton Kessler Jr. (Brenda), Kelly Renee Kessler (Douglas Keller), and Keith Allen Kessler (Julie), a doting nana to Bonnie and Brittany, and a great grandmother to Ellison.
Survived by her sister Marjorie B. O’Neill and brother Donald L. Brosius.
Deanna — “Dee”— was born May 1, 1940 in Trevorton Pennsylvania. She met the love of her life and married in November of 1960.
She worked many years for the federal government and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. It was in Fredericksburg that she became a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church. She treasured her relationship with the members there, and was devoted in her service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She lived in many parts of Virginia before building her final dream home in 2018 in Regency at Chancellorville. She loved spending time with her family, traveling on cruises, and playing card games with the ladies in the neighborhood.
She was a dear friend to many, and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Quantico National Cemetery.
