Dawn Marie Bache's Obituary
Dawn Marie Bache, 56, of Culpeper, died Monday, December 9, 2024, at her home. She was born on April 12, 1968, in Tehran, Iran to Frank and Beverly Downey.
Dawn was a loving and generous mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She is best known for her unique, and oftentimes contagious laugh, as well as, her fun-loving personality. Dawn worked various jobs in and around Culpeper. She took pride in her work ethic at home and in the community often mentioning that she had been working since she was a teenager. Her greatest accomplishment (aside from her children) was creating a catalog from scratch, having never recieved any formal training. Dawn was a fighter and a survivor having battled chronic health conditions for the last 30 years. She experienced immense grief following her son's death in 2021. Her husband, daughter, and son-in-law have found peace in the idea that they are together once again.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry G. Bache, Jr.; her daughter, Lauren Marie Bache (Matthew “Marty” Spradlin); two brothers, Jonathan Downey (Terri) and Matthew Downey; numerous nieces and nephews; and her “granddogs”, Lulu and Walter .
Dawn is preceded in death by her son, Lawrence “Russell” Bache; and her in-laws, Lawrence “Bee” and Ethel Bache and her best buddy Sam.
A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
