David Allen Pullen's Obituary
David Allen Pullen, 40, of Washington, VA died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 12, 1969 in Page County, VA to Edward J. Pullen and the late A. Faye Campbell Pullen.
Mr. Pullen was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church and a past member of Washington Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but above all loved being a father.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Thora Plummer Pullen, his daughter, Autumn R. Pullen, two stepsons, Jeremy T. Critchfield and Jason A. Critchfield, one sister, Kim Dwyer and husband, James, and three brothers, Russell Dodson, Eddie Pullen and Gary Wayne Pullen and wife, Beverly.
Additional survivors include one step grandson, Evan Critchfield, 5 nephews, 1 niece, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, 3948 Sperryville Pike, Sperryville, VA with Rev. Jon Heddleston officiating.
Interment will follow in the family cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Wharton, Sammy Foreback, Joe Cross, Alan Wheeler, Wayne Woodard, Danny Bailey, John Vanesse and Jeremy Critchfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Pullen and Johnny Campbell.
