It is in great sadness the passing of my older brother. Having childhood memories of building forts in the woods and igloos in the winter. Dave was always ambitious and smart. He married the light of his life, Theresa, and married in 1973. throughout many deployments in his marine career the one my family remembers the most is in Portsmouth, Maine. We had one of the best Thanksgivings ,and lobster meals and hikes into the woods , resting and dinning on mre`s.To many wonderful memories but I and my family will cherish forever.Our sister-in-law and our nephews and niecegrew in accomplished adults. We will miss him, his strenght and endurance thru the last 10 years. Love, Dawn and Robert and family.

To my brother Dave. I love you and will miss our long talks into the night. We were not only brothers but, Marine Brothers which made our relationship so very special. You had a long and strenuous fight against Parkinson's and cancer and never gave up the fight. Our Lord ended your pain and anguish and took you into His Kingdom where you will have eternal life without disability. They'll give you a set of dress blues to wear in Heaven and you will wear it with that pride only a Marine knows. Semper Fidelis my brother. Semper Fi Marine. Oorah!

Terry and family, I am saddened at David's passing, but realize he has suffered over the last months. May he rest in peace. I pray you take comfort and could rest a bit now. David was a beautiful man, and I was so happy to have known him for so many years. The man I knew didn't have all the medals he has received over the years, and the recognition for all he did for our country but was special just as he was. We laughed a lot, he teased and joked with Dawn and I, and always enjoyed his company! May he be in God's precious hands now, and smiling down on all of you. I pray God gives you strength to get through each day one at a time. Sending much love and prayers to all of you.

There are many many found memories I have of Mr.Yarrington so many it's hard to choose. He was so full of knowledge and wisdom and I was so fortunate to be on the receiving end of it. Many a times he would share his knowledge of History with me and told it in a way that made it fascinating. He shared recipies with me, gave me cooking lessons ( his delicious apple pie), financial advice, raising a family advice- I could go on and on. It was so evident his Passion to serve His country and how Proud He was to be A Marine. He also spoke of such pride He had for his wife Terry and all his Children. One thing I will never forget and I will carry with me always was He would tell me , " Always keep a sense of Humor." It was a privilege and an Honor to work for Mr.Yarrington. He was quite an amazing man!
