David Lee Woodward, Jr.'s Obituary
David Lee Woodward, Jr., 78, of Culpeper, died Sunday, February 9, 2025, at his home. He was born July 4, 1946, in Warrenton to the late Ella and David Woodward, Sr.
David was a hard worker and a straight shooter. He would help anyone, anytime, anyplace. He finished his lifelong career of welding at Ross Industries. David loved his family more than anything.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Woodward; three children, David Lee Woodward, III (Catina), Michael Shawn Woodward (Angie), and Robin Lynn Woodward; four grandchildren, Dustin James Woodward, Faith Marie Emmel, Emma Grayce Woodward, and Lilly Caroline Woodward; two sisters-in-law, Dot Woodward and Geraldine Woodward; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by three brothers, Shirley Woodward, Franklin Woodward, and Donnie Woodward.
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
