Got a Christmas card from Karen Bair yesterday. Her mother, Sarah, passed away earlier this year. Hopefully, you will meet each other again. We always enjoyed going to the Bair Reunion. As much as you liked genealogy, I bet you would have loved Ancestry.com. Rachel has gotten some neat old family photos I bet you’d be able to tell us something about. Miss you.
Dave and I served in the Coast Guard Reserve together many years ago but lost contact. Earlier today I was talking to another of our USCG colleagues and his name came up so I decided to see if I could locate him. I'm saddened to see that he passed away over a year ago but happy to see that he enjoyed such a full life and was helpful to so many others.

I remember my dads bristly beard when he kissed me goodnight as a child. I was not a fan of "the beard" but would give everything to fell it again. I remember that he was smarter than any adult I ever knew so much that he was a member of MENSA however couldn't tell time very well as he was almost always late picking me up from soccer practice. I remember he loved the sound of a marching band. I remember the soind of his typewriter as he wrote his sermons every Saturday night. I remember he loved us all and provided for us and he will forever be my father and I will always be his son. I love you dad !
