David William Ramsey's Obituary
David William Ramsey, 67, of Fredericksburg, passed away Wednesday, 13 June 2018.
David was born on 8 July 1950 in Beckley, WV. He attended Stafford High School and in 1967 enlisted in the United States Army. While in the US Army he served three combat tours in Vietnam, and would go on to have a distinguished military career. He left the US Army in 1984 and began a career in real estate eventually settling back in Fredericksburg, where he continued his career in real estate and car sales. David was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping.
He is survived by his loving companion of twenty-seven years, Sandra; his daughter, Martha; his grandsons, Colin and Christian; seven siblings and many extended family members in the Fredericksburg area.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
