How can I share a memory when so many flood my mind? I think the most precious memory I have of Dave is of his playing "Trumpet Voluntaire" at my wedding as I walked down the isle.
I can imagine his playing his trumpet to welcome new arrivals in Heaven. I can also imagine his dropping his trumpet to rush to Selene's side as she enters Heaven.
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
We were younger, for sure when David and Selene were expecting their first daughter.
We needed our Volvo wagon worked on, and David found the problem, and had us running smooth in no time.A genious mechanic to us!!
We at the time painted Pooh or Disney figures in the nursery, shared meals together and lots of laughs......Wonderful friendship!! Thanks!!!! Our love to David's family!!

David and my husband shared many things - a love for the Lord, a Mr Fix It syndrome, love of family and FTD. Though they never met in this life, I'm sure they are swapping tales in their new home.
I remember Selene sharing a story of how Mr.Fixit, David paneled the den and was so impressed with his own work, that by the time she arrived home, he had also paneled the living room and dining room!! Selene screamed!! Too funny!!
Selene, you have inspired so many of us, who daily love and care for our husband's illnesses. God Bless you and your family.

I don't remember ever meeting David except on facebook. I felt a kinship as my Mom had dementia for 6 years before she passed. Selene you have been a testimony of Gods keeping grace. I have often been encouraged through things you have shared?. You were loyal and faithful to David.Thankyou for your life and David's sweet spirit..
So sorry for your loss. Can still remember all those fun times at your house with all the kids and especially those fun hay rides. The weekend at Myrtle beach was also fun.
