The adventure in this life with you in it is over but will never be forgotten. We meet in our 20's young not afraid and tackled this life learning as we went along. God knows we made lots of mistakes and learned from them. You were 10 yrs older almost but saw something in the young single mother you meet pitching quarter with the guys after work---and that's where the journey began. You showed me that there was life beyond Rt 621 in Loudoun County. You took to Christopher at 6 months as your own- we made that official in 1990 when you adopted him --AS years went by it proved no DNA has to be shared for you to be Father and Son--you look alike --and God only knows act alike at times. We were family --- you were always there for me no matter what and I for you. I knew if I fell you would be there to pick me up and God help anybody that would be nasty to me if you were around. You were apart of many lives - having a hand in raising a few along the way. Mike Lipps, Chrissy Lipps, etc. YOU are proof that " Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." We had good times, bad times , fun times, sad times, and happy times. David Lowe I am who I am today because you believed in my 40 years ago -- RIP --Love you, Ellen
