David Arthur Kooker's Obituary
David A. Kooker, 77, of Stafford County, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a proud veteran, who served 20 years in the Navy. Later in life, he was an accountant at ENSCO for 17 years. David loved to bird watch in his backyard and talk to the squirrels. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family, especially his infant great-grandson, Zachary.
David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria; his daughters, Luana Hissen and Pamela Eberline and her husband, Gerard; two granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer Applegate; great-grandson, Zachary Godbey; and other loving extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Aquia Episcopal Church, 2938 Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford. Burial will be held at noon in Quantico National Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at the church.
