David Alan Jackson's Obituary
David Alan Jackson, 57, of Culpeper passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. He was born September 25, 1961 in Charlottesville to the late Stonewall and Fannie Washington Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was an avid Redskins fan and will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jackson; two children, Tony Jasper, and Derrick Jasper (Stacy); seven siblings, Barbara Weatherly (Wallace), Evelyn Wilkins, Tim Banks (Doreen), Judy Johnson (Mike), Wanda Jackson (Maurice), Dennis Jackson (Synnovia), and Patricia Wilson (Sylvester); and seven grandchildren, Diyon, Amaya, Zarah, Tyrek, Tiana, Daijah and Nevaeh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Criglersville, VA.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
